A mostly true journey of a girl, her man, and their three kids; all trying to live harmoniously in cities somewhere in Utah. Names and exact locations may be changed in order to protect the grouchy.
I'd post a longer comment but I'm just going to go back to rocking in the corner - sorry...
You do that, man. I understand..
We did ours a month ago. Dave's STILL in the corner. Ugh. Love ya, Your FF <3
Thank goodness- I always feel so alone in situations like this! Give Dave a pat on the head from us. We'll all be fine soon, right?
We did ours a few months back. I will never understand how everyone around us gets so much money back, and we get peanuts. I am thankful we don't owe anything but come on! It's a deep, deep burn. :( Sorry to hear you are just as unhappy with your situation. Poor Mark. Please tell him that a good stiff drink may move him from the fetal position.
Yeah, we're winners who waited until the last minute. Mark cashed in stock when the company changed over. We knew it was coming, but it didn't hurt any less. We have never received a refund from this state. A drink, does pink lemonade count? Ha! Have to be more than sober to write out those checks. Again, ouch.
So, I'm a weirdo and I love doing my taxes ASAP, lol. This year I did them on February 2nd. I got an email almost immediately stating that the GOV was processing it already. I told Char, "Yea, I'm probably the very first person to do their taxes for the year- they were on it!" I laugh... but they were quick, and that may have been the case... :P
Yeah, I remember those days..Now, it's hours of files and statements. When you owe more than $999 to anyone you don't know personally, you tend to wait until the last minute. ;(
Talk to me.
