Funny Friday, June 2015
Today’s post is this month’s Funny Friday, a regular feature published on the last Friday of every month. Funny Friday is a collaborative project. Each month one of the participants submits a picture, then we all write 5 captions or thoughts inspired by that month’s picture. Links to the other bloggers’ posts are below, click on them and see what they’ve come up with. I hope we bring a smile to your face as you start your weekend.
Here’s today’s picture. It was submitted by Sarah @ The Momisodes
1. Neil Armstrong's dream: His grand-kids will one day walk on the moon without the need for spacesuits.
2. It took 238,900 miles before the kids stopped asking their mother, "Are we there yet?"
3. Girl in Pink: "If the moon had water, this would TOTALLY be my hot tub!"
5. Jeremy grasped tightly to the flag pole, wondering what the repercussions were going to be when he told his sisters the truth: He accidentally left all of their food at home.

Are we there yet? I'm HUNGRY!!!
ReplyDeleteMe too, Tamara. First thing said after I take off my moon boots: "What's for dinner?" ;)
DeleteMoms are THE best!
ReplyDeleteMoms ARE the best!! See the lengths that they'll go to??
DeletePoor Jeremy. Have they opened a 7Eleven on the moon yet? If not, that will be a long trip home. All great captions!
ReplyDeleteLove,
M
Slurpees for everyone, man.
Deleteawesome...left the food at home...LOLOLOLOL moms can do it all!
ReplyDeleteI wrote that because I would be the one to forget the food. If it wasn't me, I'd be the first one yelling about it :)
DeleteMoms rock!
Oh man, the dreaded travel question. Even a trip to the moon won't stop kids from asking.."are we there yet?" Awesome!
ReplyDeleteI've never traveled more than ten minutes without hearing it, Candice. Even now that my kids are grown...Patience is hard when there is a trip involved :)
DeleteHa ha, number 5 made me laugh out loud :-)
ReplyDeleteThanks, Sarah. That was my favorite, too. You can't forget the food!
DeleteLeft their food at home? That's what happens when a guy does the planning
ReplyDeleteHa! I just read that to my husband and he's nodding! To tell you the truth though, I usually am worried about so many things, I'm the one forgetting things. Like food. Or shoes....LOL
DeleteHard lesson to learn...never let the boys pack. Mom rocks though.
ReplyDeleteWhen boys forget to pack something, girls usually remind them about it for the next twenty years. LOL.
DeleteYou know, that has never happened to me, except sarcastically - the whole "are we there yet" barrage every other mother complains about. I get "where are we going" a million times, though!
ReplyDeleteI'm usually yelling, "Are we there yet?" or "Are we home yet?" The car can get pretty small.
DeleteLove the "are we there yet?" one. That's too funny!
ReplyDeleteThanks, Angela. Glad you like it ;)
DeleteThey STILL asked if they were there yet. lol
ReplyDeleteI miss you, Twinnie! Thanks for hosting the pic. Your kiddos are too cute.
