A mostly true journey of a girl, her man, and their three kids; all trying to live harmoniously in cities somewhere in Utah. Names and exact locations may be changed in order to protect the grouchy.
Hahaha! This is adorable. If anyone called me a beast I'd be upset but when it comes from the kiddies--well, you just gotta love 'em. So sweet! Hopefully the name will not stick with you in 2013.....Happy New Year! XOXO
He only got away with it because he's under double digits! The other kids probably think it, but won't say it out loud. Ha! That name better not stick, although it may toughen up my street cred! Happy 2013, woman! XO
Thank you, Slu! BTW, I received a new puzzle that will actually fit on our table. It's a Vincent van Gogh. Yeah, I know. I'm a rebel. Happy New Year to you, your lady and the whole gang. Yes, that includes Adrian Peterson ;)
My beastly blogging bestie, I can't wait to read what the new year has in store for you and that oven of yours. Thanks for always hanging in there with me. <3 to you!
Oh so funny, but you know where his sweet little heart was. I resolve this new year to eat more chocolate and get more sleep. I gather that 2013 is going to rock!!!
So funny. I'm afraid that if my kids said that, they might mean it a little too much! On the other hand, Daughter #4 goes to Coppell Middle School East, and there slogan is, "East is the Beast" which is a complimentary thing. Have a great New Year!
Hey, being a mom automatically entitles us to a little beastly behavior!! East is the Beast!! Definitely a compliment. I'd say it, but my town starts with the word "South".I know. We could all think of something to say there. It's so good to hear from you, Mrs. S. I hope everything is going well with you and your bunch! Happy 2013!
3 yrs ago, my then 6 yr old son gave me his Christmas gift. A drawing from school. It was of a reindeer. Smoking a cigar. (I actually scanned the pic and have it saved in "Noah's graduation photo's")
Smoking reindeer? Sounds like something we would have drawn when we were little! You must keep that forever. I love this age. j. wrote a little girl the other day telling him how touched he was that she gave him a card. Whose child is this? Happy New Year to you, Nick Nack! <3 you.
What's better than the best? The best with an extra letter (an A, no less!). At least you know he didn't copy it from somewhere - it's truly from his heart.
Al says that you're only the best til someone better comes along. Wise words. I'll be the beast forever. At least there's that. He is a kind boy with his mother's sense of humor. Even if he doesn't know it yet. Poor thing.
I have a whole box of stuff like this from the kids as well as a book of funny things my students said. I figure it will make for great memories or bribery. ;)
I apologize in advance, but you are definitely one of the beast I've met in the blogosphere :) Have a Happy New Year! Jae Mac, I'm Just Sayin'...(Damn!)
I laughed until I cried reading that note. Our youngest has a soft heart, which made that note all the funnier. Thank you for the New Year wishes. Cheers to an amazing year!
