Funny Friday: December 2015

Funny Friday, December 2015

Today’s post is this month’s Funny Friday, a regular feature published on the last Friday of every month. Funny Friday is a collaborative project. Each month one of the participants submits a picture, then we all write 5 captions or thoughts inspired by that month’s picture. Links to the other bloggers’ posts are below, click on them and see what they’ve come up with. I hope we bring a smile to your face as you start your weekend.

Here’s today’s picture. It was submitted by Me! (WooHoo!!) This is a photo of Coffee Nip Nip. She is a llama, who lives on my in-law's farm. She's 23 years old!

1. "Dude. Long night... don't judge. I am NOT good to drive...Can hitch a ride?"

2. "You folks lookin' to buy some quality alfalfa? I know a guy."

3. "Keep on driving, man. Nothing to see here...unless you have a an extra brush."

4. "You get in one little fight in the barn, and suddenly you're the one sleeping outside."

5. "Ask me if my mama was a llama one more time. I double dare you."

Cheers to a wonderful 2016, friends!

  1. I just love this picture!
Your first three captions gave me flash backs to my college days!
Everyone knows that llama/mama thing but me. I think I've missed out on some important childhood information.

    1. "Is your Mama a Llama?" Was one of the first books I had in my teaching collection. I think I got it from my mother in law. Heavy on the rhymes. I was much more into "Sheep in a Jeep." LOL

  3. My favorite is number 4. Maybe because I've had to sleep "outside the barn" and know that feeling (for the record, I'm sure I deserved it). Number 1 is good, too. Thanks for a Christmas day chuckle. Love you!

    1. "Dude, I know a guy." started in my house when I was looking for pencils. My high school senior said that to me and I about died. Now, it's kind of our go-to saying. I'm sure many people consider calling CPS, but...
      LOL

  5. Careful now. You might give Utah dealers ideas on how to bulk up their skag weed... I mean, dude, I know a guy. ;)

    1. Thanks, Marcia. Mark's family had two llamas when we moved here. Neither have seemed to like Mark. They spit at him. It was pretty funny to see.
Cheers times two that 2016 is a year for the better. Happy Holidays, my friend.
