Funny Friday: June 2015

Funny Friday, June 2015

Today’s post is this month’s Funny Friday, a regular feature published on the last Friday of every month. Funny Friday is a collaborative project. Each month one of the participants submits a picture, then we all write 5 captions or thoughts inspired by that month’s picture. Links to the other bloggers’ posts are below, click on them and see what they’ve come up with. I hope we bring a smile to your face as you start your weekend.

Here’s today’s picture. It was submitted by Sarah @ The Momisodes

1. Neil Armstrong's dream: His grand-kids will one day walk on the moon without the need for spacesuits.

2. It took 238,900 miles before the kids stopped asking their mother, "Are we there yet?"

3. Girl in Pink: "If the moon had water, this would TOTALLY be my hot tub!"

4. Daughter in Purple: "In NASA's history, 12 people have walked on the moon and they were all boys. My mom brought two girls here in one afternoon. My mother >NASA.

5. Jeremy grasped tightly to the flag pole, wondering what the repercussions were going to be when he told his sisters the truth: He accidentally left all of their food at home.

Happy Friday, Friends :)

  3. Poor Jeremy. Have they opened a 7Eleven on the moon yet? If not, that will be a long trip home. All great captions!

    1. I wrote that because I would be the one to forget the food. If it wasn't me, I'd be the first one yelling about it :)
      Moms rock!

  5. Oh man, the dreaded travel question. Even a trip to the moon won't stop kids from asking.."are we there yet?" Awesome!

    1. I've never traveled more than ten minutes without hearing it, Candice. Even now that my kids are grown...Patience is hard when there is a trip involved :)

    1. Ha! I just read that to my husband and he's nodding! To tell you the truth though, I usually am worried about so many things, I'm the one forgetting things. Like food. Or shoes....LOL

  8. Hard lesson to learn...never let the boys pack. Mom rocks though.

    1. When boys forget to pack something, girls usually remind them about it for the next twenty years. LOL.

  9. You know, that has never happened to me, except sarcastically - the whole "are we there yet" barrage every other mother complains about. I get "where are we going" a million times, though!

    1. I'm usually yelling, "Are we there yet?" or "Are we home yet?" The car can get pretty small.
