Love and truth?

I think I have figured out this year's resolution.

"Mom. I am glad you are in my life. You are the...BEAST."

Cheers to that whole "working on being kind" thing ;)

Happy 2013, friends.

    1. He only got away with it because he's under double digits! The other kids probably think it, but won't say it out loud. Ha! That name better not stick, although it may toughen up my street cred! Happy 2013, woman! XO

  9. So funny. I'm afraid that if my kids said that, they might mean it a little too much! On the other hand, Daughter #4 goes to Coppell Middle School East, and there slogan is, "East is the Beast" which is a complimentary thing.
    Have a great New Year!

    1. Hey, being a mom automatically entitles us to a little beastly behavior!! East is the Beast!! Definitely a compliment. I'd say it, but my town starts with the word "South".I know. We could all think of something to say there.
It's so good to hear from you, Mrs. S. I hope everything is going well with you and your bunch! Happy 2013!

  10. Oh my! Adorable!!!!

3 yrs ago, my then 6 yr old son gave me his Christmas gift. A drawing from school.
    It was of a reindeer.
    Smoking a cigar.
(I actually scanned the pic and have it saved in "Noah's graduation photo's")

Cheers to being a mom of a little boy! ;)

    Happy New Year, you BEAST!
    Love ya my FF :):):)

    1. Smoking reindeer? Sounds like something we would have drawn when we were little! You must keep that forever. I love this age. j. wrote a little girl the other day telling him how touched he was that she gave him a card. Whose child is this?
Happy New Year to you, Nick Nack! <3 you.

  11. What's better than the best? The best with an extra letter (an A, no less!). At least you know he didn't copy it from somewhere - it's truly from his heart.

    1. Al says that you're only the best til someone better comes along. Wise words. I'll be the beast forever. At least there's that. He is a kind boy with his mother's sense of humor. Even if he doesn't know it yet. Poor thing.
